L2V is a coalition of partners building human-centered health systems in low- and middle-income countries.

Systems change work requires local depth and global reach, and our organizational structure matches that. We are a network of locally-run and independently-managed global partners with a shared vision and mission. The partners work together to build knowledge and capacity in our incubation services, and our team often collaborates across partners in their support of initiatives.
At GDI South Asia, we build ventures that reimagine systems — from agriculture and climate to livelihoods and public health — to improve outcomes for vulnerable communities across the region. Rooted in deep local insight and connected to GDI’s global network, we design and scale high-impact solutions by leveraging and deploying strategic resources, talent, tools, and learning across borders.
We partner with diverse local and global leaders – entrepreneurs/innovators, domestic and global donors, corporates, civil society, national/local governments, and academia – towards ecosystem-wide solutions that work for everyone. Within our unique regional context, this is not a simple task.
Therefore, we work closely with our partners through the venture lifecycle — from seeding bold ideas to scaling proven models. This includes strategy design, fundraising, finance and operational support, ecosystem building, coordination, and leadership coaching. Our engagements typically last 24–36 months, long enough to test, learn, pivot, and grow.
Whether you’re a systems thinker, funder, or founder, we invite you to join us in building what’s next.
Climate: Our Climate portfolio supports incubation of ventures, including financing facilities, across water, waste, climate-smart agriculture, and other areas that address the threats of climate change faced by the most vulnerable populations.
Health: Our Health portfolio focuses on collaborating with the health systems and the intersectionality with climate risks to chart a different trajectory to better health outcomes and costs.
Livelihoods: This portfolio creates place-based, local economic opportunities for young people and supports safe pathways for those who migrate in search of work.
Others: Agriculture, Gender, Mental Health, and Intersectionality across Portfolios.
If you have promising ideas in any other social impact sector, we would love to hear more!
Based in India, our team combines strong regional expertise with GDI’s global footprint.
