Global Opportunity Youth Network (GOYN)

The Global Opportunity Youth Network (GOYN) connects “Opportunity Youth” – young people aged 15-29 who are out of school, unemployed, or working in informal jobs – to dignified and sustainable economic opportunity. Working with Anchor Partners and taking ‘district / municipality’ as a unit of change, GOYN uses hyper-local data to co-create a suite of solutions with local stakeholders (critically youth), and focuses on creating opportunities for local labour absorption at scale. These solutions are both youth facing and also ecosystem facing – and are designed to shift systems of youth employment in that district / municipality to reach a tipping / saturation point in the youth employment outcomes in that community over a 10-15 year horizon.
