Kinyua is a food and agricultural professional with over 26 years of experience in growing food and agriculture systems in Africa, having worked for leading multinationals where he led Business Development and Corporate Affairs functions for Africa and the Middle East. He is also the founder of an agribusiness consultancy specializing in value chain development with expertise in supporting agribusinesses to fulfill their growth potential by enabling them to access the strategies, technologies, services, and partnerships that they require to grow. He is driven by the conviction that strong agribusinesses transform rural livelihoods, communities, and economies.

He is also an active agroforestry farmer.
