Jared is a highly motivated development professional with over ten years of experience. He brings a proven track record in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), Programme Management, Strategy Development, and Technical Advisory services. He excels at designing and delivering complex M&E systems for international development programs across diverse sectors like Health & Nutrition, Agriculture & Livelihood, Education, Governance, Social Protection, and Private Sector Development.

Jared’s capability extends beyond technical expertise. He demonstrably managed performance and M&E functions for a large-scale program funded by the European Union (EUR 18 million), AgriFI Kenya Challenge Fund (AKCF), aimed at unlocking investment in the private sector by supporting a blended financing facility. His role included overseeing blended teams, establishing and reviewing performance metrics, and developing critical paths to ensure project delivery.Prior to this leadership role, he honed his M&E expertise managing programmes and research projects funded across Eastern and Southern Africa by donors like such as Global Fund (HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria & Harm Reduction), USAID/PERFAR (TBARC,LINKAGES), GAVI the Vaccine Alliance (Kenya County Immunization program – HSS), Conrad Hilton Foundation, SIDA (ECD, Family Strengthening & Parenting), Open Society Foundations, IFAD, and the European Union (Improving maternal and Young child nutrition for women of reproductive age).

His career began at the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) as a data analyst, where he supported scientists with data analysis for agricultural development initiatives. As a Mathematics and Computer Science (Statistics Major) graduate from JKUAT, this experience solidified his foundation in quantitative and qualitative methods, a skillset further strengthened by his ongoing pursuit of a Master of Arts in Project Planning and Management (MAPPM) at the University of Nairobi (UoN). This dedication to continuous learning ensures he remains at the forefront of the development field.
