Cities Investment Advisory Platform
The Cities Investment Advisory Platform (CIAP) is an innovative financing initiative focusing on improving the quality of life and access to services for urban communities in Africa, Asia and Latin America. The goal of the platform is to increase the pace and quality of sustainable urban development in cities.
GDI’s role
GDI managed the co-design of the platform, including defining and refining its service offering and business model, branding and marketing the platform, and defining the appropriate long-term entity, governance, and management structure in close coordination with UN-Habitat. GDI also provided fiscal sponsorship for CIAP through receiving funds from donors and partners, and recruiting and managing staff, advisors, and consultants.
