Zipporah Nyokangi

Zipporah Nyokangi is a Director at GDI Africa, where she is building a portfolio focused on market development and economic growth, with the aim of creating jobs and developing the next generation of local leaders. She also works across GDI’s discovery and design efforts, identifying and developing opportunities for new initiatives that can address persistent development challenges.

Prior to GDI, Zipporah served as Chief of Staff at an African fintech, working across corporate strategy, fundraising, and investor engagement. She previously founded Etago Capital, an entrepreneurship-through-acquisition fund, and spent several years at Bain & Company, advising clients across Africa and North America on strategy, investment, and growth.

Zipporah holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cape Town.
