Hirushan Thayalan

Hiru joins GDI after 5 years with Mastercard Advisors and a leading role with the organization’s Data for Good practice. In this role, he led consulting engagements with non-profits and focused on impact measurement efforts. This work allowed Hiru to collaborate with and learn from experts on place-based economic development, community violence intervention, and other impact initiatives. Hiru’s experiences working with community leaders have led him to GDI and he’s excited about working with the team to develop scalable solutions to global issues.

Outside of work, Hiru likes to spend his time reading fiction, watching and playing sports, traveling, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
