Job Description

As a Full-Stack Lead Developer at Tabiya, you will be an integral member of a team of five developers tasked with crafting a pioneering cloud-based platform for labor markets. Your role will involve:

  • Collaborating closely with the developers and the CTO to architect and develop a robust platform.
  • Engaging in the design and implementation of new features, transforming ideas into reality.
  • Ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality software, validating the integrity and reliability of the platform.
  • Taking ownership of the work, from conception through to deployment and operations, embodying our “We build it, we run it” ethos.

Requirements and Qualifications:

We are looking for a Full-Stack Lead Developer with:

  • A proven record of delivering high-quality software projects.
  • Proficiency in various parts of our stack, including:
    • Typescript/JavaScript
    • Node.js
    • React (Material UI)
    • REST API
    • MongoDB/Mongoose
    • AWS (Lambda, S3, Cognito, Route53, etc.)
    • CI/CD
    • DevOps
    • TDD/BDD
  • The eagerness to expand knowledge in unfamiliar areas of the tech stack.
  • Readiness to take full ownership of their work, ensuring the quality and operational success of the platform.
  • Proactive attitude, taking the initiative to address challenges and opportunities head-on.
  • An open character, able to foster a collaborative and inclusive environment.
  • Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Ability to effectively manage their own time and deliverables.
  • Exceptional English language communication skills.
  • Availability to commit to a full-time schedule for the duration of the contract.
  • The ability to self-manage time effectively and meet deliverables.

Additional Information

Location: Remote (CET+0 to CET+2 Time Zone)

Employment Type: 1-year contract with potential for extension
