Tracy Huynh is a Senior Associate for Operations and Compliance at GDI Americas. As a first-generation American with Vietnamese heritage, Tracy’s passion for global development is deeply rooted in personal history. Growing up, she witnessed firsthand how strategic public and private investments can transform communities, fueling her commitment to creating sustainable, equitable opportunities worldwide.

Tracy’s career spans roles with impactful organizations such as Cooper/Smith, Friends of the Earth, Amnesty International, and the World Affairs Council of Oregon. Through her work in grassroots advocacy, sustainability, and community engagement, she has honed a systems-thinking approach to solving complex challenges. Tracy’s work is guided by the belief that inclusive, human-centered design fosters long-lasting solutions that empower historically underserved communities.

Tracy holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from American University, School of International Service. She is fluent in English, Vietnamese, and Spanish. When not supporting GDI’s initiatives, Tracy enjoys exploring intersections of culture, innovation, and history—whether through culinary arts, exhibitions, or live performances. She is also an avid audiophile and loves to travel.
