Janani Krishnan

Janani Krishnan is the Human Resources Lead, driving GDI South Asia’s people agenda and partnering with leadership on organisational growth and development initiatives.

Janani is an experienced People Practices and Sustainability practitioner, and over the course of the last 10 years, she’s worked in the development sector, supporting organisations with developing their people strategy and implementing equitable people practices. She cares deeply about inclusion and compassion in the workplace, and has worked as a gender consultant specializing in the prevention of sexual harassment and building a safe workplace (aligned to SDGs 5, 8, and 10). Janani holds a Master’s in Global Development Practice from Harvard Extension School.

Janani is based out of Mumbai, India, and enjoys the outdoors, spending time with animals, and is a sustainable textile enthusiast.
